138. Shades of the Red Guards, Here

Ed. Note: This podcast was recorded before the events in Paris on Friday.

Mona and Jay devote most of this podcast to the lunacy on campus – although it’s more than lunacy. It’s hatred, ignorance, and intimidation. It is profoundly un-American and undemocratic.

M. & J. also talk about recent days in the GOP presidential campaign – which have featured some lunacy themselves, certainly in the form of Trump’s attacks on Carson (who has responded, “Pray for him”).

In brief, this podcast includes discussion of some of the most important issues of our time: the very character of our nation, and its fitness for survival.

The podcast goes out with a piece of music that Mona heard recently: a piece for three cellos and piano by David Popper.
